Ipswich City Council serves as the local government authority for the City of Ipswich in South-East Queensland.
With a focus on sustainable growth and community engagement, the council manages development, resources and public programs to support one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions.
The Challenge
Ipswich City Council needed a targeted strategy and campaign to secure a better and fairer infrastructure funding deal ahead of the 2024 State Election.
This was in and an effort to raise the profile of regionally significant projects and increasing collaboration with government stakeholders.
Our Solution
We developed the “We Can’t Wait” campaign, creating strong, emotional messaging to mobilise local support and ensure Ipswich’s concerns were heard.
Strategic support for media and social channels delivered consistent, prominent visibility across news and political platforms.
We successfully elevated Ipswich’s profile with both state and federal government, positioning the city as a key voice in regional growth and development. Our approach actively engaged the local community in advocacy efforts, building widespread support and shared ownership of the city’s priorities.
